We have it on good authority that we will see a 2010 return of the Statesmen of Jazz this summer!

What a wonderful evening of Jazz, Wine, and Classic 99 it was last evening at the Columbia Foundation for the Arts !  We enjoyed great jazz performances in this spectacular venue, which has great history, which you can read about with the included links.

It was also my birthday, and I got to celebrate this with great jazz artists, my family and my friends in the St. Louis jazz community!

Our good friend Eddie Higgins passed away this morning at 77 years of age.

He was a great piano player, a true gentleman, with a wonderful sense of humor.

He will be missed by all who knew & loved him.
