Mat Domber-March of Jazz #2- 1995

March Of Jazz 1995 celebrated the 80th Birthday of Flip Phillips. Our 2nd segment of the 2013 party film was chosen by Mat Domber even though it was included in Arbors DVD of that party in Deerfield Beach, Fl. Our thoughts & prayers are with Clark Terry & his family.
This selection was the Grand Finale at the party & included most all of the musicians.

Mat Domber Remembered

Mat Domber passed away on September 19, 2012 but he will never be away from our hearts, as well as our ears & our eyes.

See our Memorial Page, and the first segment of the video that would have been shown at the upcoming Arbors Invitational Jazz Party, which has been cancelled.  The video that Mat wanted to show was a review of of the past March of Jazz Parties, highlighting the musician honored in that particular year.

Stacy Sullivan Interview

Stacy Sullivan loves to sing & we love to listen. It's A Good Day is her newest release on LML Music. It's a tribute to Peggy Lee & has many of her songs & those she made famous. But it's a unique treatment by this beautiful vocalist & her "swinging cats"-as Peggy liked to say. Our good buddy Bucky Pizzarelli joins in the fun with Jon Weber & Steve Doyle.
One of the many highlights is previously unheard "The Folks Back Home" which Stacy treats as Peggy would have with tenderness & feeling from the heart.
Listen to her interview & you will be touched as I am by her warmth & passion.
It's A Good Day when Stacy sings-in fact it's good all the time.

Sue Raney Interview

Sue Raney has long been one of my most favorite singers & people. I have collected & enjoyed each & every one of her recordings & her new release "LISTEN HERE" is no exception but it is exceptionally great. Sue teams up once again with pianist-arranger Alan Broadbent in this duo recording.
Sue continues her individualistic style of story telling with feeling & sensitivity.
One of my favorite but lesser know Sinatra hits is included here-There Used To Be A Ballpark Here written by Joe Raposo & it's as much about life itself as it is about baseball parks. Sue's husband Carmen Fanzone plays the flugelhorn & played with the Redsox & the Cubs. Years ago they recorded "Baseball" with the Bob Florence Group in Ridin' High.
In this interview you will understand my affection for this great artist whose voice has remained beautiful over the years & I strongly recommend you do as I have & LISTEN HERE.
