Hi Don. Love your shows on radio. Was coming home Friday evening and got into your station. You were playing "My Mother's Eyes" by someone that was very good. I found myself humming to every word. My Mom just died in January '09, and this is the first Mother's Day she won't be with me and my five siblings. This song really hit home. Thanks for playing it. I have to say that I am very lucky though, because tomorrow on Saturday 5/9/09 my four girls and 2 boys (not spouses or grandchildren) will be taking me to lunch for Mother's Day. I ABSOULUTELY LOVE this day. They all come again on Sunday to be with me and their Dad for the actual Mother's Day celebration. Actually I am so proud to have these grown kids for my very own. They have become more like friends now that they have grown. Thanks for GREAT jazz on the radio.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Erin Bode will be at Crestwood Courts Mall on Saturday May 23 at 1:15. This is a free event sponsored by the Metro south Arts Council and Afton Center Stage. The stage will be near the one-time Dillard's. Her performance will be preceded by classical guitarist Dan Hoerle at Noon. There will also be a student multi-district gallery and competition. Art displays and fine art for sale. Lots of children activities all day. Afton Centerstage Productions will present "Seven Supermans" at 2:30. Dance Project St Louis will perform at 4:15. Lots of info but sounds like lots of fun!
