Mat Domber-March of Jazz #2- 1995
March Of Jazz 1995 celebrated the 80th Birthday of Flip Phillips. Our 2nd segment of the 2013 party film was chosen by Mat Domber even though it was included in Arbors DVD of that party in Deerfield Beach, Fl. Our thoughts & prayers are with Clark Terry & his family.
This selection was the Grand Finale at the party & included most all of the musicians.
Mat Domber Remembered
Mat Domber passed away on September 19, 2012 but he will never be away from our hearts, as well as our ears & our eyes.
See our Memorial Page, and the first segment of the video that would have been shown at the upcoming Arbors Invitational Jazz Party, which has been cancelled. The video that Mat wanted to show was a review of of the past March of Jazz Parties, highlighting the musician honored in that particular year.

Natalie Cressman (Link to Interview) is a beautiful, young & talented singer, trombonist & composer. Her debut release is Natalie Cressman & Secret Garden UNFOLDING. Natalie plays in a variety of musical styles & her versatility for her new music results in diverse musical pleasure. She is a great improviser & she brings youth & excitement to to the music scene for young & old alike. Wait till you hear her rendition of honeysuckle rose. Fats would have loved it & so do we. Jazz is alive & well & Natalie Cressman is proof thereof.

Sue's husband Carmen Fanzone plays the flugelhorn & played with the Redsox & the Cubs. Years ago they recorded "Baseball" with the Bob Florence Group in Ridin' High.

Ron Carter Interview

He was a member of Miles Davis' classic quintet in the 60s & he has over 2500 recordings to his credit with many of the giants of jazz. He has received many awards including the Grammy & is considered by most to be the most outstanding bassist of this decade.
In our interview Ron talks about the importance of jazz education. Just listening to the great Ron Carter is an education in & of itself.
He returns to St. Louis, Mo. after many years with his Golden Striker Trio for the 8th Annual Greater St Louis Jazz Festival at The University of Missouri-St. Louis.
